Love sculpture from the augusté rodin exhibition
The beautiful and complex artworks from the Augusté Rodin exhibition in London have sparked a worldwide love sculpture craze, with fans sending their own versions to museums and auction houses.
The sculptures, which were created between 1910 and 1910, are one of the most famous pieces of art in the world, and are now sold for more than $1m (£700,000).
The exhibition’s opening was met with great acclaim and many fans have come from all over the world to view them.
“This is a real art piece.
It’s very, very moving,” says Joanna Richey from the UK.”
The people who have sent me their creations are people that I have known for years, and they are lovely.
It was so moving, you feel like you’re in a dream.”
One of the artists involved in the work, Joanna Rodin, told the Guardian that the artworks have been a way of making their lives “much more meaningful”.
“I wanted to do something with my life that I didn’t have to be constantly in my head,” she said.
“I think it is a way to find meaning in the everyday.”
Another artist, John Gossett, has created a series of other love sculptures, but he is more interested in creating art that is “more personal”.
“It is very important for me to be creative,” he told the BBC.
“I find love with my body.”
He told the news website he felt the art had helped him “put a few years back into my life”.
“When I was in my twenties, I was very depressed.
It had taken me a long time to realise that it was not a problem I could fix,” he said.”
But when I met someone I liked, I got really good at that.”‘
I thought I’d been in love with a woman’The works are based on drawings by the artist, who was born in 1899 in Paris and died in 1960.
In the years since, Rodin’s work has been featured in a number of publications, including The New Yorker, New York Magazine and The New York Times.
He created his own drawings of the female figure and also created sculptures called “the woman”.
“He said it was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen,” said Joanna.
“When you see it in person, you’re really touched.
I thought I would never love a woman again.
I just knew I was dreaming.”
The pieces were exhibited in London in October last year.
“It’s quite an experience.
I’m very happy to be doing something with people,” said John.”
There’s a feeling of intimacy and connection when you see someone’s face, or when you go to see someone.
You realise that you’re doing something meaningful with your life.””
I had a lot of time to think about it, and it was very powerful.”
For Joanna, the love sculptures are the work of a lifetime, and the artist told the New Yorker he felt “a little bit of relief”.
“A lot of the time it’s not something I think about much anymore, but when it happens it feels very real and it makes you realise how precious life is,” he added.
“These sculptures are very special.”
The artist said he has been inspired by other artworks and has been given the “opportunity to show my work in an artistic context”.
“Love is not just about sex.
It is also about love of a physical form, a physical connection to the body,” he explained.
