Egyptian sculpture in museum, an exhibition at the Museum of Egypt
The Egyptian Museum of Science and Technology has unveiled a new exhibition titled “The Art of the Ancient Egyptians” in the main exhibition hall of the Museum.
The exhibition includes sculptures, paintings, and other objects by more than 300 artists, as well as other works of art from Egypt’s rich cultural heritage, according to a press release from the museum.
“The exhibition is part of the exhibition of the ‘Egyptian Renaissance’, a programme dedicated to the development of the art and culture of the ancient Egyptian Empire and its people, and the emergence of modern art and science in the Middle East and Africa,” the press release said.
The Egyptian Museum’s mission is to inspire, educate, and engage the public on the history and development of Egyptian culture, the museum said.
It is a joint initiative of the Egyptian Institute of Science, Arts, and Culture (EISAC), the Egyptian Academy of Sciences, and UNESCO.
Egypt has a rich cultural legacy, including a rich archaeological heritage dating back to the time of King Tutankhamun and a rich religious heritage, which has inspired and enriched the lives of Egyptians for centuries.
